Dienstag 2 November: Today I had to register for my winter quarter classes. Luckily my time wasn't at 2 in the morning or something ridiculous, it was just at 10 at night. After a series of classes being full and the internet quitting, I got all my classes. I think I'm good for a while with setting stuff up at home.
Mittwoch 3 November: Art and Architecture went to the KHM (Kunsthistorisches Museum) again today and we looked at Dürer. I had to leave early though because Michelle and I got to go to the Thomastik string factory! It was so awesome! I wish I had pictures, but I thought it might be weird. We went to this room with all these strings with the guy that engineers their strings and we got to test out different strings and then he gave them to us!!! It was so so awesome and we learned a ton about strings, so that was pretty fun.
Donnerstag 4 November: My Classical Symphony class went to the Beethoven House today. (Yep, the one I've already been to). It was pretty much the same as it was a few weeks ago, but it was still fun.
Freitag 5 November: Class, rehearsal, coaching, coaching, coaching. That was the day.
Samstag 6 November: This morning was the solo concert for IES. I played the Moto Perpetuo from the Vaughan Williams Suite. It wasn't my best, but it wasn't bad, especially for such a stressful week. The best comment I got today: "I know you weren't happy, but at least you made it through and didn't have to stop"... that's IES for you... Although I did get really nice comments from my chamber coach Barbara though, who is awesome. Then we of course, had to go to the flea market. No major findings today, but here are some pictures:
Ya... those were for sale... I didn't ask how much though...
Sonntag 7 November: Today's church was the Minoritenkirche. This church was kind of funny to me, it included: A giant replica of the Last Supper, a fresco of San Francesco and a ton of little Italian kids running around. It was pretty priceless. It was very bright and pretty though, just those few funny things.
Last supper replica, haha

Stained glass behind the organ
Always need a photo of the ceiling.

Montag 8 November: Today=class, practice, coaching, homework
Dienstag 9 November: Today=class, class, practice, lesson, coaching at night, at Barbara's house. She had a ton of chocolate and orange juice for us, which was nice.
Mittwoch 10 November: Today we went to the KHM again, always fun. Did you know that Peter Paul Rubens paintings were made by a workshop? I didn't even know that sort of thing existed!!! Today I decided that I have lost all will to play viola. I just don't want to. I'm having viola overload and I don't want to play at all. Which is too bad since I kind of have to do that here.
Donnerstag 11 November: Today I had a coaching with my pianist, Greta. As soon as I went in, she looked at me and said "we don't have to play anything today" the best words I've heard in a while! We talked for a while about losing the will to play and she gave me a lot of useful and reassuring advice. She told me not to play at least today and go somewhere I like to sit. She suggested the KHM, so that's exactly what I did. I went with Marisa and we walked around. Then I just sat by myself in the Rubens room and knit for an hour and a half and I felt very good. Then of course I had rehearsals...
Freitag 12 November: Happy birthday Dad! Today is the 60th anniversary of IES. There are events all day and we're playing at the celebration thing tonight. We don't have German today! Yay! So I didn't have to get to school until noon for rehearsals and there was free food at school all day! There was a lot of rehearsing and waiting around at the old IES building (where my dad went to school) Palais Kinsky. (Which is gorgeous) We had to sit on this blanket backstage, which was pretty funny.
Picnic in Palais Kinsky! hahaha
We played Tchaikovsky
Just a bit of the reception, catered by Cafe Central! Yum!
Samstag 13 November: So today was a fun day. I had to get up early to be at a rehearsal at 9 at Barbara's apartment. She did however supply us with the best espresso, orange juice and of course, chocolates! After that I went home and did some work. Today the first Christmas markets opened! Emily's friend is visiting from Milan this weekend so we went to the Rathaus market! It was so sososososososos cool! Here are some pictures: I can't describe it...
Emily made us curry chicken for dinner, it was excellent!
Look at all those ornaments.

Jordan, Emily and I drinking our Glühwein, yummy! (also not the best picture of me)
Sonntag 14 November: So no church today since Marisa just got back from Krakow at like 6 am. I'm also getting sick, which means a lot of time in bed. But also a lesson! It never ends. But the lesson was super awesome so that was good!
Montag 15 November: Class, rehearsal, you know how we do. (Still sick)
Dienstag 16 November: (See Monday)
